This journey of self love hasn’t been easy

one day I’m breaking, the next I’m putting back the pieces

It’s like I can’t catch a break every time I try & sometimes I wanna see the world through someone else’s eyes

it feels euphoric at first because it’s not what you’d expect

Still, I’m glad I found myself and realised I wouldn’t want to be anyone else

I am no expert but I can guarantee that there’s been a time in all of our lives where it’s been hard to love who we really are and show up as our true, authentic selves. I see you. It’s easy to get caught up in a life that’s not yours, seemingly lost and trying to find your way in a world that’s ever changing but be more patient with yourself. You’re not meant to be anything else than what you are right now. Social media has an intricate effect on the way we choose to interact with each other, always putting our best foot forward and I know you’ve probably heard this before, but no one ever shows the negatives online. be a little kinder to you and everyone and take comfort in knowing that you’re doing your best especially with everything going on right now. The present is the only time that matters so try, try to live in it to the fullest. Take the days one at a time and every experience as a lesson learned.
